Yetvart Garbis-Yaghdjian B.A. (Hon) U. of T.
OSA, PSA, OPA, DSC
Honourary member of the Drawing Society of Canada
Trained in the traditional manner I work mainly with oil. My inspiration comes from nature, and I am driven by a desire to capture the forms, patterns, rhythms, colour relationships underlying its beauty. Without sacrificing artistic integrity or sinking into the banal, I strive to create Images that capture “the moment and the experience”.
Following a timeless classic tradition, my work is an attempt to redefine in contemporary terms, subject matter that is an intrinsic part of the universal human experience.
